These Terms govern your use of the Plotline.directory marketplace (the "Service") operated by LIV Build Group LLC, trading as Plotline.directory ("we", "us", "Company"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Who we are
Plotline.directory is operated by LIV Build Group LLC, a North Carolina limited liability company. We provide an online marketplace that connects sellers of off-market real estate with vetted buyers. We are not a real estate broker and do not provide legal, tax, or investment advice.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract. If you use the Service on behalf of a business, you represent you have the authority to bind that business. You are responsible for the accuracy of information you provide and for activity under your account.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to: (a) use the Service unlawfully or fraudulently; (b) infringe any intellectual property rights; (c) interfere with the security or operation of the Service (including malware, probing, or unauthorized scraping); (d) misrepresent property condition, ownership, or pricing; or (e) circumvent the platform to avoid fees on transactions originated through it.
4. Intellectual property
The Service, including all software, content, and branding, is owned by LIV Build Group LLC and is protected by applicable IP laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service in accordance with your active plan.
5. Service availability
We work to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may suspend the Service for maintenance, security, or compliance reasons.
6. Payments, billing, and refunds
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, taxes, and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms.
Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel from the customer portal at any time; access continues through the end of your paid billing period. See our Refund Policy for details.
7. Seller commission
If you are a seller and a buyer introduced via Plotline.directory closes on your property, you agree to pay a closing commission equal to 10% of the final sale price. The commission is charged through our secure payment provider (Paddle) at the time you mark the deal closed in your dashboard. Listing fees are separate and non-refundable once a listing has been published.
8. Warranties and liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. Our aggregate liability is capped at the fees you paid us in the prior twelve months. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, special, or incidental damages. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for fraud, death, or personal injury where such exclusion would be unlawful.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify LIV Build Group LLC against claims arising from your content, your use of the Service in breach of these Terms, or your unlawful conduct.
10. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your access for material breach, non-payment, fraud or security risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends. We may retain account records as required by law.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, USA, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Mecklenburg County, North Carolina.
12. Changes
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated through the Service. Your continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
